NEW INNOVATIVE DIGITAL HEADLAMP AIMING PROCESS
DETROIT, Mi., Nov 3, 2009 / Fori Automation INC (www.foriauto.com) announces the newly designed digital headlamp aiming systems that improves accuracy and reduces system components and increase machine up time.
One of the unique features of the digital camera system is that machine to machine correlation is now faster than ever. With the advancements in digital camera technology the lamp intensity measurement has become better and more accurate, data acquisition time is faster which in itself facilitates and increases camera rate, the lamp image is transferred directly to the PC in a digital format and an improved aim point tracking has been accomplished.
The benefits of digital headlamp aiming include; elimination of mechanical components which increases machine uptime, removal of an image processing board which reduces spare part inventory and a 50% higher camera resolution compared to previous analog systems. This digital camera system offers many optional features. A laser cruise & adaptive cruise calibration system, which calibrates the cruise system that automatically slows the vehicle down when it detects a slower moving object in front of the vehicle. A rear view anti collision camera calibration. Vehicle collision avoidance radar calibration that alerts the drive to any slower moving object in the vehicles path. An audit image scanning board for production testing systems and many others. All adjustments are performed by automatic smart screwdrivers that precisely position the component being aligned. The digital headlamp aiming system can be mounted in a number of ways to suit the needs of the customer; In-Floor headlamp aiming system with dual or single masts, a fully automatic index table for pre-final assembly alignment, overhead gantry with single or dual masts or an overhead gantry with multiple lanes.
The Fori Digital Headlamp Aiming Systems can align all North American, European and Asian headlamps more accurately and faster than previously possible.
